Privacy, in plain English
Homesful is published by Viyful AI Ltd, registered in England, which is the data controller for this site. The short version: we hold your email address if you give it to us, a little more if you buy the compliance check, and nothing else. No advertising trackers, no selling data, no surprises.
If you read the site
Reading Homesful requires no account and sets no cookies — no advertising cookies, no cross-site tracking, and no analytics cookies either. We measure how the site is used with Vercel Web Analytics, a cookie-free tool that gives us aggregate numbers only: which pages are read, roughly where visitors are from (country level), and what kind of device they use. It stores nothing on your device and cannot identify you, which is why there is no cookie banner here. Our hosting provider (Vercel) also keeps standard, short-lived server logs — IP address, pages requested — to run and secure the service, as every host does.
If you join the newsletter
We hold your email address and, if you chose one, your interest (short-term lets, long-term rentals, or both), in MailerLite, our email provider. We use it to send the downloads you asked for and the newsletter. Lawful basis: your consent, confirmed by double opt-in. Every email has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing removes you from future sends, and you can ask us to delete your record entirely.
If you buy the compliance check
We hold exactly four things, and this is the full list:
- Your email address and name, collected by Stripe at checkout. Payment is processed entirely by Stripe; your card details never reach us.
- Your audit answers — the yes/no/not-sure ticks that generate your action plan.
- Timestamps of purchase and of when answers were saved.
Answers and account data live in Supabase, hosted in London. Buyers also join our MailerLite buyers list so we can email you when the question set updates — that is part of the product (“kept current”), and lawful basis for all of the above is the contract you bought. Sign-in uses one-time email links; we never hold a password.
Your rights
UK GDPR gives you the right to see what we hold, correct it, or have it deleted. Emailhello@homesful.com and we’ll do it — deletion of a buyer account removes your answers and ends member access. We keep purchase records only as long as accounting law requires. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data, you can complain to the ICO atico.org.uk.
Processors we use
Stripe (payments), Supabase (member database and sign-in, London region), MailerLite (email), Vercel (hosting). Each processes data only on our instructions under their own security terms.
